What happened?

Long story. The moral of which is that the Battlements of the Shining God are a bigger problem than we'd realized.

[ Loki may or may not have heard the name of that particular group - in and out of the news for mystical arsons, they specifically have a problem with the skyfallen metas. ]

I don't have all the information yet. But they're a murderous cult with a history of sacrificing magic-users to dangerous effect, at least once and here in Sunset Falls, and we who aren't from here are not their favorite people to begin with. Be wary.
