I don’t know that I can give adequate advice. Fixing things isn’t exactly something I do. But he needs you in his life, and maybe he needs to hear that you WANT to be there.
Interesting. You worry about giving him false hope but don’t believe that he could want and need you as you are. If you have faith in him, why do you doubt him so?
